Stolen vehicle and reckless driving

On Wednesday, April 7th, at about 7:05am, Kingman Police arrested Marsha Chantay Gill, 35 of Kingman area, on felony charges of Vehicle Theft, Reckless Driving and misdemeanor Criminal Damage. Officers responded to the 3300blk of E. Andy Devine Ave regarding reports of a tan in color Chevrolet pickup driving recklessly and dangerously.  Witnesses reported the truck to be passing vehicles and speeding through a school zone, passing and driving in opposing lanes of traffic, before stopping in a parking lot in the 3300blk of E. Andy Devine Ave.  Officers arrived and contacted the driver, Gill, who appeared to be impaired.    Gill made statements of illicit drug use and appeared delusional . The investigation revealed that Gill had stolen the vehicle from a residence in the 2200blk. of Pasadena Ave. several minutes earlier.  Investigators believe that Gill had been walking in the 2200blk of Pasadena Ave. when she discovered keys in the ignition of the unattended truck.  Gill was arrested and booked into the Mohave County Adult Detention Facility.
