Mohave County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Juan Raul Iracheta Gonzalez, 30, of Golden Valley, late Wednesday (10/11) evening for aggravated assault victim bound/restricted per domestic violence, aggravated assault by impede breathing per domestic violence, felonies, along with disorderly conduct per domestic violence, threatening per domestic violence, assault and disorderly conduct, misdemeanors.
Approximately 11:12 p.m., deputies responded to a domestic violence incident at a residence in the 3600 block of Highway 68. Upon arrival, deputies observed a female subject running out of a trailer holding a baby. Deputies contacted the female subject, a 24-year-old victim. Deputies observed the victim was bleeding from her mouth and having difficulty breathing. Medical responded and treated the victim. Deputies contacted the male subject who exited the trailer and took him into custody. The male subject was later identified as Gonzalez.
The victim said that Gonzalez, her boyfriend, came home yelling and screaming at her. The victim further said that Gonzalez began to push and hit her while he was saying that he was going to kill her. The victim reported that Gonzalez tackled her and she blacked out while he was choking her. The victim further reported that Gonzalez continued to hit her while she was regaining consciousness. The victim advised that she was able to escape from the trailer and run to a neighbor’s house to call 911. The victim further advised that her neighbor got injured when he was trying to calm Gonzalez down. Deputies contacted the neighbor, a 49-year-old male victim. The victim reported that Gonzalez pushed him down and his leg was injured. A computer history check showed Gonzalez has been recently arrested two times for assaulting his girlfriend. Gonzalez was transported and booked into the Mohave County Jail.
